Clayton Knowles, CPA

Clayton Knowles was born in McKinney, Texas and is a graduate of Baylor University where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy. After graduating from Baylor, Clayton earned his CPA license from the AICPA after passing all four sections of the CPA exam on his first attempt, which is accomplished by less than 20% of all CPA applicants. As a licensed CPA, Clayton started his career as an auditor with KPMG in their Dallas office. While at KPMG, Clayton took part in the audits of several commercial real estate clients (primarily REITs) and was responsible for audit testwork over property valuations as well as both financial and operational aspects of multifamily, office, and industrial properties nationwide.

After working for KPMG in the public accounting industry, Clayton joined Cantrell McCulloch Inc. at the beginning of 2023.
