Jill E. Unell

Jill E. Unell has over 32 years of experience in the property tax profession. Jill began her career in 1990 as a business personal property appraiser with the Dallas Central Appraisal District, where she was one of three appraisers chosen to represent the Appraisal District to defend valuations before the Appraisal Review Board.

After 3 years with the Appraisal District, Jill changed to the taxpayer side and has worked in the property tax department of two large multi-national accounting firms where she performed consulting services in 40 states. Continuing to specialize in business personal property, Jill built a proven track record for achieving outstanding results for clients by pursuing complex valuation issues. Additional areas of specialty include the interpretation of property tax law for abatements, exemptions and providing expert witness testimony.

Jill works on the premise that every client deserves personal attention. She goes beyond conventional procedure for reduction by utilizing property tax laws largely ignored by other consultants and/or in-house tax departments.
