Karen Milan has been a personal property equipment appraiser for over 30 years and is an active member and international committee officer of the American Society of Appraisers. Prior to joining Cantrell McCulloch, Karen spent 15 years as owner and president of an appraisal company specializing in performing valuations and litigation support for ad valorem taxation in order to identify evidence of tax saving issues. She has worked with tax professionals such as consultants, attorneys and in-house tax departments in provided appraisals, reviews, and as an expert witness.
Karen has performed appraisals in most states where business personal property is taxed. Her experience includes: chemical plants, corporate headquarters, data centers, distribution centers, heavy industrial properties, hospitality, medical, oilfield, pharmaceutical, restaurant, telecom, transportation, and most other industries.
